| Abstract |
When low-voltage low-power DC-DC converters are considered, as in typical space application, the
advantages of soft switching techniques shall be considered in more detail.
This paper provides a detailed comparison between multioutput soft and hard switched converters for space
application, not only in term of efficiency or cost, but also considering the effect of harsh environment in
space that is thermal cycling, EMC, Radiation and Reliability. Experimental results on the two most
promising topologies will be provided. |
