Microelectronics technology is constantly
changing, increasing integration density and
operation speed. Very high quality voltage
(1.5V) is needed to supply these new
integrated circuits.
Topologies used in the last years to supply low
voltage circuits (FAC, HBCC), are not the best
option now, because their dynamic response is
not the best to supply properly the new loads.
Topologies that drive symmetrically the
transformer (HB, Push pull) are a better
option, but new techniques to implement
SDSR are necessary. Two possible solutions
for powering the new IC are presented and
tested in this paper. |
