| Abstract |
A dc-dc-converter is presented which has been designed to supply sensor and driving circuits used in
medium-voltage inverters. The dc-dc-converter is based on a piezoelectric transformer with a very
high insulation capability. A complete digital automatic control ensures a stable operation without the
need of any manual frequency trimming. The output of the presented power supply is no-load- and
short-circuit-proof. The coupling capacitance between the primary side and the secondary side is
extremely small. With a prototype a continuous power of more than 10W has been transmitted. |
