| Abstract |
This paper introduces a new three-phase AC/DC converter equipped with three unidirectional switches, three diodes and one line transformer only. By a special connection of theline transformer, the current at each converter branch input is positive only. This reduces the power devices number to a transistor and a diode for each converter branch. the paper presents the converter design and describes both hardware and control particularities. the performance of the proposed converter is discussed in comparison with other tree-phase utility interfaces by the help of PSPICE simulations. |
