Voltage Space Vectors of Multilevel Inverters

| Abstract |
The relationship among voltage-levels of three-phase inverters, numbers of different space vectors of output voltages, and coupling schemes of double inverters is presented. It is shown that a harmonic canceling reactor-coupled system can produce a large number of space vectors of output voltages. An application example of the space vectors to pulse width modulation is also described. |
