Sliding-LQR Based Control of DC-DC Converters

Abstract |
This paper proposes a sliding-LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) control method for DC-DC converters. The coefficients of the linear sliding control surfaces are obtained using LQR theory. This method has been applied to a buck, boost, buck-boost and SEPIC converter and a modular power system. The simulation and experimental results show a good dynamic behavior during the start-up transient response and against load and input voltage perturbations. |
