| Abstract |
The modelling and control of the Modified Series Resonant Converter (MSRC) is addressed. Using the fundamental frequency analysis, a model of the converter is derived, which is used to examine the system characteristics under both frequency and resonant current control. The performance and limitations of each control are described and the implications for the power circuit design are explored. Full supporting experimental results are included. |
