| Abstract | A novel hybrid soft-switching converter featuring zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) over the full load range and reduced filter requirement was proposed in [1,2]. In this paper the various topological variations of the hybrid converter are discussed. Specific applications, for which each of the variations is best suited, are indicated. Experimental and simulation results of the basic hybrid converter and some of its extensions are presented. | |||||
