| Abstract |
In this paper a novel quasi resonant DC link inverter using coupled inductors is
proposed which pulls down the DC link voltage to zero for soft switching of inverter devices.
The circuit uses a single switch in the quasi-resonant stage. In addition it has all advantages of
many other QRDCL inverters like true PWM capability, snubberless and load independent
operation. Various modes of operation are described with their equivalent circuits. The circuit
is simulated using PSPICE and tested under all possible loading conditions. |
