| Abstract |
A new concept of soft switching is presented in this paper. This concept is related to the
main topologies of DC-DC converters and is based on a specific design of input and output filters that
do not entail the use of any other component. It is applicable to all types of converters (buck, boost,
buck-boost...) with or without galvanic isolation. The characteristics and possible applications of such
converters are highlighted. |
