| Abstract |
This paper presents the implementation of a protection strategy to reduce the transient overtorque of
an induction motor in case of failure of the IGBT voltage source inverter feeding this motor.
The protection strategy is applicable to 2-level and 3-level inverters and was implemented on several
railways vehicles. |
