 Abstract   A hybrid control scheme in discharge modeand the resonant boost operation in charging mode isproposed for a bidirectional LCLC converter to meetdesired steady state gain. During the charging mode,the converter operates with resonant boost mode. Theconverter is able to charge the battery to its maximum voltagewith the proposed resonant boost operation ensuringsoft switching for all primary and secondary MOSFETs.The converter operation is verified through simulationand experimentation. The obtained results are in goodagreement with the theoretical analysis. Additionally, thedischarge mode is tested with a built hardware prototypeand 95.85\% efficiency is observed at 500W load power.
