| Abstract |
This paper investigates inrush-currentevents during reconnection of medium-voltage gridsegments for a conventional grid and a converter fedmicrogrid setup. A transformer saturation and gridformingconverter model were developed to reproduce theinrush-current behavior observed during measurements.Worst-case parameters affecting the inrush current werederived. |
