Abstract |
Low or zero inertia characteristics Inverter interfaced renewable energy sources pose a challenge to the stable operation of power systems. To deal with challenge, the concept of Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) has been widely adopted. Traditional VSGs, however, have limitations in meeting the requirements of microgrid frequency stabilization as they rely on a fixed inertia. To tackle this challenge, a Model-Free Adaptive Control (MFAC) strategy is developed in this article. To assess the efficacy of the suggested control strategy, some simulation results are provided. |
