Abstract |
A real-time capable emulation of a modular multilevel converter with integrated batteries for hardware-in-the-loop applications is presented. The modeling and interfacing of electrical, thermal, and aging behavior of multiple batteries are shown. The capability for emulation faster than real-time is demonstrated, which benefits the development of energy management strategies. |
