 Abstract   This paper proposes a linear controller design method based on convex optimization to optimally balance disturbance rejection and noise suppression in electric drives. The simulation results demonstrate that, compared to conventional linear controllers, the designed controller enhances disturbance rejection without compromising noise suppression, and vice versa.
