Abstract |
Battery storage systems are crucial for the future energy infrastructure due to the fluctuating power generation of renewable energies. To increase the system efficiency and power density a trend toward higher battery and system voltages arises. Therefore, this paper introduces a demonstrator for the power electronics of a stationary, 1500 V hybrid battery storage system. A peak efficiency of 97.7 \% was measured for the system (DC/DC converter and inverter). |
