Abstract |
Keeping touch & leakage currents within the tough regulation limits is a very ambitious goal for non-isolated EV-chargers, affecting the entire system setup (topology, PWM, filter). This paper improves the scope of a timesaving analytical touch current calculation method by expanding the modelling from a single-stage to a two-stage power electronic architecture. The analytic calculation workflow is validated with a laboratory setup including a 2-level 3-phase active front end converter and a H-bridge DC-DC-converter. Finally, the influence of different DC-DC-converter PWM schemes on the touch current behaviour of the charging system is analysed in detail. |
