| Abstract |
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) have become attractive to many variable speed
industrial applications in medium and large power drives. In this paper a sensorless DTC-drive for a
PMSM is presented. The principle of determination of the initial rotor position at start-up, the
operation at zero speed and at low rotational speeds in general are described. Some of the results of
the numerous experiments performed with a laboratory prototype drive are given. |
