Abstract |
This paper analyzes the problems caused by the interaction between the fundamental current and the
carrier signal current in carrier signal injection based sensorless AC drives. This interaction can be
caused by a lack of spectral separation between the two signals during steady-state operation or by
transients in the fundamental current. Both of these phenomena are first analyzed and then a solution
based on dynamic decoupling using a fundamental current observer is proposed. |
