Abstract |
Environmental requirements to reduce greenhouse gases caused the appearance of regulatory documents and decisions of international organizations for the development and widespread use of electric traction in cars. One of the most important parts of electric cars is the traction drive, using a different type of electric motors. One of the most promising electric motors is the synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM). The paper proposes a new adaptive control of reluctance traction drive combining the use of two control loops: a conventional loop and an adaptive control loop based on an optimal singular adaptive observer. This control compensates for the delay of the signal in the conventional control loop, as a result of which the quality of speed regulation is improved under various disturbances and when the speed reference is changed. A mathematical model of this drive was created, with the help of which different modes were studied and some of the obtained results were presented. |
