| Abstract |
The need for larger output voltage rangesof high-power electric vehicle charging systems, caused bydifferent vehicle battery voltages can lead to a decreasedefficiency over the power converter output voltage range.In this paper, a double submodule DC-DC convertertopology with a solid state change-over switch for a fasttransition between parallel and series connection of theoutput stages is proposed. The transition and the expandedfull power output voltage range is investigated troughsimulation and experimental validation. |
