The commercial vehicle business is facing a major transformation into zero emission transportation. The presentation is about the different challenges and their possible solutions in terms of alternative powertrains for heavy duty trucks and the approach which Daimler Truck is following. Furthermore, the specifics for truck manufacturer in Power Electronics Systems will be lined out. In some applications the body of the truck has a higher energy demand as the truck itself, e.g. construction site vehicles like concrete pumps. Some ideas about different approaches will be shared as well. |
