| Abstract |
The combination of battery management system and power electronics, using multi-level topologies ingeneral and cascaded H-bridges in particular, offers advantages over the state of the art. Theirevaluation must consider possible effects on battery life. Experimental studies of battery cells showthat these effects are small compared to typical loads. |
