| Abstract |
The paper describes the general trend for the design of core shapes for inductors and transformers inpower electronic applications under the influence of increasing switching frequencies. The focus of the paper is on the ratio of the winding window and the core cross sectional area to identify the current trends and new shapes for magnetic circuits. |
