| Abstract |
The paper gives an overview of the design, and particularly manufacturing and testing of a 16000 rpm,
30 kW axial-flux permanent-magnet (AFPM) synchronous machine. This machine is mounted inside
and as an integral part of a flywheel that will subsequently be used in a hybrid electric vehicle. The
paper describes the testing facility and includes the measurement results in comparison with the calculations. |
