Abstract |
In this paper, an effective Hysteresis Current Control implemented in a Totem Pole Power Factor Corrector (PFC) is presented. The Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technique has been adopted to boost the converter efficiency, hence a comprehensive mathematical model of the resonance transient has been developed to properly set the ZVS transitions. The proposed control scheme and transient model have been simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment and implemented on STMicroelectronics microcontroller STM32G474. Finally, experimental results of a prototype are presented validating the concept, the adopted model and the implementation. |
