An efficient approach for the analysis, modeling, and simulation of the Half-Bridge (HB) DC-DC converter circuit operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) has been proposed. The efficiency of the method comes from modeling basic components in the converter properly. The center-tapped transformer, the most important component of the converter, is newly modeled by dependent sources. Parasitic effects of various components are also included in the analysis. In order to obtain system equations, being the basis of the analysis, the modified nodal method is used. Simulation results are presented as an illustration of the proposed modeling approach. |
