| Abstract |
Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) sensors in power modules are used for temperature measurement and often located at the edge of the module due to the isolation constraints. This paper focusses on connecting a physical temperature sensor in parallel to the IGBT gate and auxiliary emitter contacts in order to mount the sensor directly onto an IGBT chip, without requiring an additional isolation. |
