 Abstract   A model is presented in this paper allowing robustness evaluation via µ-analysis of systems including induction motors with flux oriented control (FOC). The system considered is composed of an induction motor connected to a mechanical load via a flexible joint. Parameter uncertainties are simultaneously considered on both electric and mechanical parts. The model of flux oriented controlled induction machine, accounting for parameter errors, is developed and transformed in a shape ad-hoc for robustness analysis. µ-analysis background is presented and results are given in the case of a controller designed with H∞ “loop-shaping” method.
