Abstract | The BR-TRC2 converter is a member of the family of Asymmetrical Half-Bridge topologies with several advantages, as zero voltage transition (ZVT), one diode per output, limited voltage stress of the switching transistors, utilisation of the transformers leakage inductance, and PWM fixed frequency control. This article presents an introduction to this topology, giving a description and two mathematical models that include losses of the components in practical applications. | |||||
