Abstract |
The computer program for the simulation described in the first paper was employed in order to improve the regulation behaviour of the harmonic filtering and the anti-skid performance of the drive. In the present paper we first discuss a method of comparing different measures for torque (at low speed) and line current harmonic reduction (around the signalling frequency values). Then results are presented pertaining to two particular methods for harmonic reduction and a way to improve the locomotive behaviour when skidding occurs. |
