Abstract	This paper presents a principle of thyristor adjustable speed system with high power factor and efficiency of A.C. motor which achievement appraisal of scientific research project was passed on Aug. 10, 1984 in Canton, China. The experimental results of the system with different load and regulating speed are given. Finally, a comparison is made between it and conventional system.
