Abstract |
The programmable high-speed controller (PHSC) has been used for numerical simulation of a VSI-fed-Induction-Motor drive. The motor is represented in the alpha/betastator reference frame together with the Voltage Source Inverter. Optimal performance is reached by using a new Direct Self Control (DSC) strategy also called "Depenbrock" method. The very fast numerical simulation allows to study the behaviour of the system with 100-times slow-motion representation. A description of the simulation method, of the new control strategy and a complete set of simulation results are presented. |
