| Abstract |
The adjustable-speed heavy-duty drives by electric motors use increasingly alternating-current motors, essentially the synchronous motor. The control of such drives has to take into account the electrotechnical performance of the motors and provide in particular for armature reaction flux compensation. In the present article, we are describing the power and monitoring circuits for cycloconverters used in various industrial applications. |
