Abstract |
This paper deals with the family of controllers which consider the inverter fed asynchronous drives as a discrete system in which the configuration is changeable at discrete time intervals (in relation both to the maximum commutation frequency of the valves and the computing time required in order to define the commands). In order to analyse and improve the performance of this family of controllers, this paper proposes and presents the development of a direct self-controller implemented by means of an expert system. The authors believe that this could be a way to study the decision mechanisms and to integrate all the intelligent onboard devices used for controlling, monitoring and diagnostics. |
