Abstract |
This paper emphasizes the teaching method at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel on variable speed induction motor drives. This method has been developed in the frame of the project concerning the introduction of informatics and automatic control in giving guidance to students and in their follow up during their practical exercices on electrical engineering. Two test set-ups are described which have a power rating of 20 KW. They are designed taking into account the particular requirements for teaching purposes. The first one is a current-source inverter drive and the second one a static
Scherbius drive. |
