| Abstract |
In microprocessor based equipment for the control and instrumentation of power systems, signal processing of waveform samples can be used to messure phase difference. In this way a reduction in equipment cost can be achieved by trading processing software for the hardware circuitry usually needed for phase measurement. This technique is described and consideration is made of its practical implementation, performance accuracy and economic implications. |
