Abstract |
This paper analytically demonstrates how both breathing mode and torque pulsations can be independently influenced in permanent magnet synchronous machines. This is achieved through superimposing an alternating magnetomotive force component on the pre-existing magnetomotive force in the dq-coordinate system. An FEM simulation is used to validate the results. |
