This paper presents for the first time a six-phase Power Hardware-In-the-Loop (PHIL) testbench, featuringelectromagnetic effects such as magnetic coupling and spatial harmonics. The proposed PHIL testbedcan be used for testing six-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) drive invertersfor electric vehicles under realistic operation conditions. This paper describes the developed six-phasePMSMmodel and its parameterization, aswell as the structure of the PHIL testbed. Finally, measurementsand simulation results are compared and illustrated. |
