| Abstract |
This paper presents the design of a novel converter for fluorescent lamps. A standard converter
feeds the lamp with a high frequency voltage. Reduced electrical noise is obtained in the designed
ballast with DC lamp operation. Tests on the fluorescent lamp revealed that it is suitable for DC
operation. |
