Abstract |
MV distribution grids are often operated with arc suppression coils compensating dominating reactivefault current component when single-phase ground fault occurs. The paper deals with an activecompensation in emulated distribution grid of 10 kV performed by a proposed three-phase active faultcompensator, based on power semiconductor converter. It enables a complete fault currentcompensation without residual components and to address resonance-related problems. |
