Abstract |
This paper proposes a gradient-based design optimization of multiphase inverter for electric vehicle application. The aim is to optimize the total volume of the converter taking account the number of phases, the sizing of dc-link capacitor and total surface of semi-conductors. The developed method shows that the optimum design is given for a number of phases more than three. |
