This paper proposes a quadratic cost function for Modulated Model Predictive Control, M2PC, designedin a way such as to guarantee that the inverter under consideration will be stable for a desired steadystate operational condition, also considering parametric variations. The M2PC results in better harmonicperformance, less current ripple and less steady-state error when compared to the classical FCS-MPC.Hardware-in-the-Loop, HIL, results are presented comparing the performance of the implemented M2PCand a classical FCS-MPC for a two-level inverter connected to an RL load, considering the same costfunction. The HIL results have demonstrated the good performance of the proposed approach, showingthe stability and performance despite the model of the implemented M2PC. |
