A Hybrid Pulse Width Modulation Technique with Temperature Control for Modular Multilevel Converters

| Abstract |
Temperature control was integrated to an experimentally verified hybrid modulation scheme driving a modular multilevel converter. It was shown that it has 11\% lower total harmonic distortion and 16\% lower losses in comparison with the phase shifted carrier methodology while maintaining a temperature difference of 1_C. |
