This work proposes a new direct predictive control with full state-variable for bi-directional DC-DC converters. With the proposed controller, both inductor current and capacitor voltage are incorporated into a unified cost function. The proposed controller allows all state variables to converge to a predefined region resulting in a good steady-state performance. Additionally, the weighting factor matrix based on the Lyapunov theory is analytically designed. Moreover, the steady-state error of the output voltage caused by model mismatch is addressed with a simple integral compensator. To the end, the proposed method is validated on a lab-constructed test bench using experimental results. |
