Abstract	Noise characteristics on switching surge in Soft-switching converter family such as Current-mode resonant type, Voltage-mode resonant type, Active-clamp type have been quantitatively studied by experiment and analysis. The mechanisms of noise generation for each converter are revealed using very accurate high-frequency model, and noise characteristics have been compared among them.
