| Abstract |
Meshed High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) grids may require additional devices such as Current FlowControllers (CFC) or Power Flow Controllers (PFC) that can control the DC currents in order to avoidoverloads and bottlenecks. This paper studies the unidirectional series interline DC/DC CFC topology.Different control modes are considered for the aforementioned converter and it is validated throughsimulation results and a prototype is built and tested in an experimental platform in the laboratory. |
