   Stability of a Power Electronics Based Microgrid System   [View]

 Abstract   With the view to have zero CO2 emission from power system, it is expected to shift power generation to renewable energy sources (solar, wind etc.) from traditional fossil fuel (coal, oil, gas etc. ) based power generation. When large scale generation is shifted towards renewable sources, the uncertainty of the sources is a barrier for stable operation. Under uncertainty, it is necessary to analyze the behavior of the grid to be able to shift to renewable based future electricity generations with stable operation. In this paper, a microgrid is modeled in time domain simulation of MATLAB/SIMULINK. Then the stability of the grid is analyzed for different cases with uncertainties.
