Abstract |
This paper proposes an online parameter estimator of the DC Bus (series resistance, capacitance and in- ductance) used in Doubly-Fed Induction Generators (DFIG) in wind applications. The proposed method relies on electrical variables that are used for the control of DFIG, i.e. stator-side and rotor-side voltages and currents. The estimation is based on a recursive least squares algorithm using transients delivered by the normal operation of the system in wind generation applications. The validity of the proposal is discussed by the theoretical analysis and simulation results. |
